What is Fire Cider?

Fire cider is an infusion that helps with cold and flu symptoms, boosts the immune system, and can help aid with digestion.

We make our fire ciders with fresh, whole ingredients that are selected for their health benefits and antioxidant properties:

  • Ginger: Contains powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties that aid digestion.
  • Turmeric: Rich in curcumin, a natural anti-inflammatory compound that supports joint health and reduces inflammation.
  • Apple cider vinegar: Helps balance pH levels, improves digestion, and may aid in blood sugar regulation.
  • Garlic: Boosts the immune system, supports heart health, and contains antibacterial and antiviral properties.
  • Onion: Rich in antioxidants and sulfur compounds, which promote heart health and support the immune system.
  • Lemon: Packed with vitamin C.
  • Honey: A natural source of antioxidants and antibacterial agents that soothe sore throats and support the immune system.
  • Garden Peppers: High in vitamins A and C.
  • Herbs: Various benefits depending on the type and when it is picked.

Meet the Kilpatricks

The DIY Fire Cider event is hosted by Michael & Savannah Kilpatrick from Farm on Central.

They've been making their own fire cider for years, and sell it both in their farm store and online, at FarmsteadWellness.com!

Michael & Savannah first started their Farmstead Wellness line for personal reasons, to create natural wellness products that were safe to give their children instead of OTCs.

Eventually, they grew their home wellness concoctions into a full product line. They grow over 80% of the ingredients they use in their fire ciders, teas, and tinctures.
